This is madness. Weirdly captivating

Fantastic little story. The animation and art style are great and it has such a fun little vibe to all of it. This is super minor criticism, but something I figured I'd mention: I think the animation of the tadpoles' legs popping out could have used a little anticipation or follow through, just to make it read a little better. The whole thing is so charming though. Great stuff

The animation overcomes it's lack of grace with how expressive it is, and the over-the-top violence and sex are so self-indulgent that I can't help but find it charming. The music, pacing, and characters are given enough personality to prop up the rest. It's better than the sum of its parts. I'd say the more you play into expressive characters in the future, you could make some wild shit. Not sure how coherent this review is, hopefully it doesn't come across as too negative

I like it. Sounds kind of jungle-y and I like how it ebbs and flows. Feels alive

Thank you so much, dude! YOU ARE AN AMAZING ARTIST. AND A GREAT PERSON!

Your great sense of humor is a valuable addition to your skills. You're pleasant to listen to, it's super nice to talk with you. I really appreciate you sharing your experiences with the guberbrains; I find those very funny.

You have a great ability to be honest and present authenticity, effectively communicating strong emotions with dynamic expressions, motion, and perspective.

I like the emotion shown in the face. The hair and face have a nice sense of volume to them as well

I like your character designs. If you're looking for feedback, I'd say don't be afraid to really push the sizing of things to make the staging more dynamic. Like the "big object" panel, and the last panel, the foreground elements could potentially be much larger and imposing, almost overtaking the panel. You have quite a good sense of shading and contrast with your composition.

Popinski64 responds:

Hey, thanks, I'll try that.

This has a real nice sense of 3-dimensionality to it with the shading on the body and the teeth. A really great lively take on Gengar

Don't let the sludge run sour.
